Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News (GEN) -- It’s a deadly combination—heart attack and cell cycle arrest. The heart attack damages cardiac tissue, which cannot be repaired because, for unknown reasons, mature cardiomyocytes lack regenerative capacity. (more)
